Christopher Ryan Cook, D.O.
Regional Anesthesia Fellow
Chris is originally from Oklahoma City and currently hangs his hat in Upper East Side Manhattan. Dr. Cook completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in Tulsa. After completing his transitional internship at Saint Anthony Hospital Chris started his anesthesiology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he served as one of the Chief Residents. Chris is still in awe of the training he received at a true multi-hospital program at the largest medical center in the world. Dr. Cook will be completing his term as President of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Resident Component in October 2008. Chris and his wife Julie chose to come to the Hospital for Special Surgery because it is the largest and most prestigious Regional Anesthesia Program in the country.
