Our Mission Statement

Hospital for Special Surgery's Anesthesiology Department website, www.hssanes.org, exists to provide comprehensive information for patients on the merits and techniques of regional anesthesia. Our website primarily serves an educational role for patients, professionals, and students of anesthesia. The Website's Editorial Board is committed to the Department's primary purpose: to be "leaders in the practice and education of regional anesthesia." Our website also acts as a resource to promote our academic programs including our Regional Anesthesia Fellowship and our annual Regional Anesthesia Symposium.
