Jeffrey Ngeow, M.D.
Attending Anesthesiologist
In 1987 Dr. Jeffrey Y. F. Ngeow left the faculty of Yale New Haven Medical Center to come to the Hospital for Special Surgery. Soon after arriving he started the Pain Management Service, which has since developed into the Division of Pain Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology. It now includes five board certified pain specialists who attend over 4,500 patient visits per year at the Pain Management Center at HSS. Since 1996 Dr. Ngeow has expanded his interest in interventional pain treatments by adding acupuncture to his practice. He is certified for acupuncture practice in New York State and is currently involved with ongoing research in the effectiveness of acupuncture as a complement to modern methods in different painful musculoskeletal conditions.
